Personality: Strong-willed, principled, and open with his love for battle. Calus appears disciplined, but is prone to losing his composure in the heat of battle and getting carried away.

Seemingly contrary to his battle-hungry nature, Calus has an inquiring mind, enjoying alchemy, biology, and is enamored with unraveling the mysteries of the star and beyond. He may not be nearly as knowledgeable as a scholar on these topics, but he enjoys dabbling in them at times.

His love for his partner, Tori, takes precedent over all else. He is extremely protective of her, and can even be obsessive over her to a fault, refusing to be apart from her for even a moment.

Occupation: Co-Founder of the Celestial Veil free company, a free company specializing in investigations.
He also acts as Tori's bodyguard and guide, as her aetheric abilities are the key to their work.

Other Traits and Info:

  • Calus has had experiments preformed on him by a cult involving voidsent, tampering with his bodies aetheric balance, and leaving him with voidsent-like urges that he struggles to keep in check if separated from Tori.

  • Gave up the path of the Dark Knight shortly after meeting Tori, as tapping into his powers as a Dark Knight left him unable to control his voidsent urges, and was especially worrisome since Tori's aetheric potency made his urges to devour her even more tempting.

  • Became a Gunbreaker after seeking out an old friend and mentor from Bozja. Would later fight for the Bozjan Resistance, where he would earn the title of a Gunnhildr's Blade.

  • Loves the thrill of battle.

  • Loves small cute things.

  • Acts as Tori's bodyguard, as her innate aetheric potency and talents are vital to their work, but she is otherwise quite physically frail.

  • Also has to act as Tori's caretaker and often has to drag her around because of her lazy and bratty nature.

  • Has great interest in mysteries, alchemy, philosophy, biology, and aetherology, though not nearly as well versed in such topics as a scholar would be.

  • Has a morbid curiosity with the concept of necromancy, voidsent, and the mysteries of death, as well as the pursuit of eternal life.

  • Has a dumb sense of humor that often betrays his well disciplined appearance.
